Harry Milton Saulser was born on October 18, 1926 in St. Helens, Oregon to Clarence & Esther (Merrill) Saulser.

He died at Avamere Assisted Living Center in St. Helens on June 27, 2010 at the age of 83.

Harry attended St. Helens High School and joined the Navy at the age of 17.

He married Beverly Beeghley in 1952, they divorced in 1970, he married Linda Forrest in 1972, she preceded him in death on November 11, 1999.

Harry was a truck driver for 15 years and 20 years at the Teamsters Local #81 in Portland, retiring as a business representative.

He lived in Eugene and Portland for 11 years, returning to Columbia Co. until present.

Harry was a member of the St. Helens United Methodist Church, early on a member of the Elks and retirees of the Teamsters Local #81. He enjoyed fishing, hunting camping, clam digging, he was one of the 1st lifeguards at the swimming pool and he played football and basketball in high school.

Survivors include: Children: Richard Saulser; Rhonda Saulser both of Portland; Jeff Bradburry of Lubbock, Texas; Brother Floyd Swardz (Amy)of Columbia City, OR.; Nephews: Jeff Swardz of Renton, WA.; Greg Swardz of Marysville, WA.

Viewing & Visitation: 9-5 Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Columbia Funeral Home
Graveside service & vault interment: Bethany Memorial Cemetery-Warren, OR. Wednesday July 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM.
